Location: Levanto

A member of the international "Slow City" movement since 2003, Levanto is located on the Italian Riviera,

right at the border of  the National Park of the Cinque Terre.


In this charming town you will discover:
one of the most beautiful beaches in Liguria now a famous destination for surfers. The beach is partially free and partially equipped for lounge chair and beach umbrella rental
an enchanting old town with its medieval loggia, sthops, cinemas and restaurants,

a new biking and walking path, through the tunnels of the old railway line, leading to the nearby villages of Bonassola and Framura, providing access and views of  picturesque coves.

Many events are organized to entertain both guests and residents: concerts, wine tastings, literary presentations, beach parties, and pageants with traditional group of musicians and flag bearers.

. by car or cycling in the nearby unspoilt Val di Vara,
. by car to well known cities such as Genoa, Lucca and Pisa within an hour on the highway.
